Artist's Comments

A chain of mountains in Turkmenistan blocks clouds moving southwards. The result is a dry, arid area several hundred miles south- Iran and Afghanistan.

Taken with Eos 400d, 1/300, f 5.6.

Moved to scraps as I have resubmitted it as a higher quality, print level dev.

it's nice but the mountains don't look real towards the bottom left of the photo

I am returning this otherwise good typing paper to you because someone has printed gibberish all over it and put your name at the top.

Bizzare, I think it's the way the sensor picks up the information from the lens- the mountains have flattened out on that area of the photo- I haven't cloned for modded it at all except for some saturation and curve work.
:icontacos45:
I think you're right, it's probably a sensor glitch because everything else looks like it should still that's pretty weird.

You lucky devil, you :giggle:
They look too beautiful to be real! This is actually one of the only pictures which look better in color and not in b/w.

The magical feeling it inspires (adding to my already strong desire to fly) urges me to :+fav: this marvelous piece of artwork.

Wow, thanks mate. That's the nicest comment I've received so far.... :boogie:

Seriously, I'm glad you liked that photo. It took a lot of effort in the cabin to frame it like that- probably the only shot so far I've been 100% happy with the framing from the get go.
:iconftpaddict:
I don't like your photo, I love your photo :o

What is your line of work anyway? You seem to be flying a lot and at very high altitudes
